WELCOME PASTOR JULIA! Rev. Julia Webb-Bowden is our new Associate Pastor. For the past 16 years, Julia has been in extension ministries for The Society of St. Andrew, a ministry of gleaning to feed the poor. She and Pastor Charles had the opportunity of beginning their ministries in Durham County at the Rougemont Charge during their student days at Duke Divinity. Julia's husband, the Rev. Larry Bowden, will be serving as pastor at Hertford UMC. They will live at the Hertford parsonage. They have two grown sons, and are looking forward to their move to Edenton and Hertford.

Vacation Bible School is July 26-29 from 9 to 11:50 am at Edenton United Methodist Church. St. Anne Catholic and St. Paul's Episcopal Churches will be participating. The theme will be "Hero Headquarters". The children will meet four Bible heroes whose small acts were used by God to do wonderful things. All 3-year-olds through 5th graders may attend.
